Ashley Tisdale’s new movie, ‘Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure,’ features an awesome soundtrack, and now the 25-year-old star is here to tell you all about her songs in the film.
In this exclusive video, Ashley explains how ‘High School Musical’ fans get to see Sharpay in a whole new way. “You kind of have to not love to hate her, you have to fall in love with her,” she says. “You get to see why Sharpay is who she is.”
Ashley talks about the four songs she performs in the Disney movie, including ‘Gonna Shine,’ ‘My Boi and Me,’ ‘The Rest of My Life’ and ‘New York’s Best Kept Secret,’ the last of which is her ultimate favorite.
“It’s really the song that shows Sharpay in a totally different light,” she explains. “She’s more vulnerable. She doesn’t have all the set dressing. She’s just by herself on stage and I think it’s a really beautiful song.”
